What happened to Amanza Smith’s missing ex-husband?

Selling Sunset’s Amanza Smith has a lot more to worry about than California’s real estate prices. For the past year, Smith has been searching for her ex-husband Ralph Brown, who has been missing since mid-2019. 

Amid the reality show drama of Selling Sunset, Smith has been working to find Brown, whom she believes is still alive. Here are all the details we know about Ralph Brown.

Real estate agent Amanza Smith is a former model who joined Netflix’s reality show Selling Sunset in season 2. In the midst of filming Selling Sunset, Smith was processing the missing case of her ex-husband, Ralph Brown.

Ralph Brown was a football player from 2000-2009. Smith & Brown got married in July 2010 and have two children together, Noah & Braker. Smith & Brown got divorced in 2012 and, shortly afterward, Smith entered the real estate industry to support her family. 

When did Ralph Brown go missing?

Smith hasn’t seen Brown since August 26th, 2019. The last time Smith saw Brown was when he dropped off their children at school that day. Smith filed a missing person report after not seeing Brown for two months. However, after reviewing the case, investigators told Smith it wasn’t a missing person case as there wasn’t any sign of foul play. 

Are there any leads in the Ralph Brown case?

Brown’s last known address belongs to a P.O. box and he shut down his phone number. Brown also hasn’t responded to any email Smith has sent in her attempts to reach out to her ex-husband. 

Smith told Entertainment Tonight she eventually hired a private investigator to find Brown, but the investigator “never got a visual”. Smith also tried to contact Brown’s family, but they haven’t responded to her texts or phone calls. 

Even Brown’s friends are at a loss. Some of his ex-NFL teammates didn’t know he was missing until they saw the news online. 

Apparently, Ralph Brown hasn’t been seen by anyone in a year. It’s unclear why he would suddenly drop off the grid, but Smith continuously tries to reach out to Brown, hoping to reunite her children back with their father.
