RIP Daniel Mickelson: Join Paris Hilton and more as they honor this actor today

Rising young actor Daniel Mickelson, brother of model Meredith Mickelson, has passed away last weekend. The star was only twenty-three years old. No further details have been disclosed about how or when exactly Daniel Mickelson passed away.

Numerous tributes were made today from celebrities as the tragic news was revealed only yesterday. Stars such as Kaia Berger, Paris Hilton, and Jordyn Woods all posted their condolences at the loss of such a young star. 

Meredith Mickelson announces the loss of her brother

On July 5th, model Meredith Mickelson posted the news on Instagram. Meredith posted an old photo of the siblings and wrote, “my heart is shattered & to write this feels so wrong and i don’t even know what to say.” She revealed, “Yesterday i lost my brother, best friend & the other half of my heart.”

“There wasn’t a person i loved more on this earth. theres no words that can do him justice that i could write,” Meredith wrote. She continued, “To know him was to love him. he was the happiest brightest smiley most sunshine human to exist and I’m so happy God chose me to be his sister for his whole amazing life.”

The brother & sister were born only two years apart. Daniel Mickelson was her older brother, born October 4th, 1997. The world not only mourns the loss of such a young star, but also the loss of a beloved brother. 

Kaia Gerber remembers the life of Daniel Mickelson

Today, model Kaia Gerber also paid tribute to her dear friend Daniel in a heartfelt Instagram story. “I remember that time we sat on the couch and spent the whole day coming up with our own secret language that we continued to speak every time we saw each other.” 

She posted the loving message alongside a screenshot of the pair laughing over FaceTime. Gerber wrote, “I wish we could go back there. I wish we were still talking in sentences that probably annoyed everyone else but made us crack up every time.”

“I wish I was still sitting on my bathroom floor FaceTiming you, because that was the only place I had wifi and I never wanted to miss a call from you,” Kaia Gerber continued. “Thank you for being the reason for so much laughter and happiness in the world. It won’t be the same without you here. I love you Daniel.”

Paris Hilton & others share their sadness over the tragic news

After Meredith posted about Daniel’s passing, several of their friends & famous stars commented their condolences to Meredith and her family. “Praying for you,” Jordyn Woods & Patrick Schwarzenegger commented. Model Amelia Hamlin affectionately wrote, “i love you forever daniel.”

Today, Paris Hilton posted a photo of her & Daniel Mickelson having fun at a party with the caption “such a light.” Paris Hilton also posted a video today of the late star & her dancing, laughing, and listening to music showing that the friends were truly close.

Daniel’s girlfriend, Maddie Haley, shared the true loss of Daniel’s compassionate personality in a tribute to his death on July 5th. She wrote, “You lit up every room with your contagious smile and never failed to make anyone happy.” Haley added, “There wasn’t one day that went by where you didn’t go out of your way to make me feel special and loved.”

Daniel Mickelson was an actor/model showing great promise in his career. He’s best known for his roles in the 2017 TV show Mani and the horror movie The Killer Clown Meets the Candy Man. Mickelson was also an up-and-coming fashion designer who had announced the launch of his own clothing line in January.
