If you’re a hardcore fan in need of more wrestling content to fill your days, then 'Dark Side of the Ring' is an absolute must-watch. Here's why.

‘Dark Side of the Ring’: All the reasons WWE fans need to watch

Fans of WWE aren’t exactly lacking in content to consume. With weekly smackdowns on Friday night and the occasional pay per view event, there are plenty of fights and smack talk to keep everyone busy.

However, if you’re a hardcore fan in need of more wrestling content to fill your days, then Dark Side of the Ring is an absolute must-watch. This VICE produced series has two seasons so far, with just one episode left to air in season two on May 19th.

Learn wrestling history

If you’re one of those people who wants to know everything there is to know about all the wrestlers in and out of the ring, then this show will help you do that. Dark Side of the Ring explores the darker goings-on in the WWE world – the stuff the cameras don’t catch.

From behind the scenes controversies to unexplained deaths, Chris Jericho and Dutch Mantell narrate the stories of wrestlers from the golden age. Season one covers stories such as Bret Hart being stripped of his championship title due to a backstabbing plot, and the death of Gino Hernandez possibly being a murder.

Season two has more episodes, with ten instead of six, including a two-part story on Chris Benoit’s murder-suicide.

A quick binge

With only sixteen total episodes (once the season finale airs next week) it isn’t a daunting task to decide and watch the entire series. In fact, with quarantine in effect, Dark Side of the Ring will be easy to finish off pretty quickly.

If you watched just two episodes every day you would have the show finished in barely over a week. But we all know you’re going to watch more than two episodes a day.

Easy to watch

If you’re a big fan of wrestling then you don’t really have an excuse to not watch Dark Side of the Ring because it’s easy to find. Not only does it air on the TV station VICE, but it’s available to stream on Hulu, Sling TV, and FuboTV.

If you don’t have any of those subscriptions you can buy or rent episodes on YouTube or Google Play. Or, (yes there are still options) you can go to VICE TV’s website and watch the episodes there. All you have to do is log in with your cable provider, or hit the free pass button.

You really don’t want to miss out since Dark Side of the Ring is VICE’s most-watched show of all time.
