All the conspiracy theories about the death of Jeffrey Epstein

Jeffrey Epstein is a name that continues to pop up on various corners of the internet. Namely, however, people are talking about the death of Jeffrey Epstein: sexual predator, financier, and, well, internet meme. Epstein’s death by suicide in 2019 sparked something throughout the internet where “Epstein didn’t kill himself” as become a meme and some sort of weird rallying cry.

Jeffrey Epstein, for those who want to know, died in his jail cell after being arrested on charges of sex trafficking minors in New Jersey. He was found injured in a cell and died a short while later. Since then, however, people have become convinced that Epstein did not kill himself.

So what are these conspiracy theories surrounding Epstein’s death?

Bipartisan blame

Trump said that he believed that Epstein was killed by Bill Clinton for “knowing too much”. Both Trump and Clinton were clients of Epstein’s investment business at one time or another. Others, however, insist that Trump somehow had a cause to kill Epstein due to all the controversy surrounding his presidency.

While the President should never boost up conspiracy theories, it definitely allowed both sides to take potshots at the other in the wake of the death of Jeffrey Epstein. Because he had powerful clients involved in his business. One could have easily ordered a hit and covered it up.

Follow the money

No one knows, exactly, where and how Jeffrey Epstein amassed his multi-million dollar fortune. While it grew over time due to his business dealings, there was still the issue of initial start-up amongst other things. Another conspiracy theory is that Epstein had blackmail and a lot of it on some powerful people throughout the world.

His death, according to his theory, is due to these elite individuals getting to him so he can’t reveal the blackmail that he has on them. When he worked on Wall Street in those early years, Epstein had one known client.

More bafflingly, no one in the New York money scene knew someone who worked with Epstein, even in passing. As a hedge-fund manager told the New York Times, “Not one institutional trading desk, primary or secondary, had ever traded with Epstein’s firm.”

For this, people believe that Epstein’s sex trafficking ring coincides with his wealth. The theory is that Epstein procured underage girls for powerful men and filmed them having sex with them. That’s when the blackmail comes in.

An assassination

Technically, all of these theories propose an assassination. This theory, however, believes that Epstein was killed for, well, raping kids and getting away with it for so long. Epstein has one prior conviction in 2008 and he only served 13 months for this sexual assault of an underaged girl.

One thing that many of us know about prisons is that…prisoners hate child molesters and sexual predators who target children. Instead of suicide, this theory believes that Epstein was murder for sexually abusing children in a vigilante form of justice.

  • The CHOMO theory doesn’t work. He was not in General Population. He was under suicide watch and a high profile prisoner, at that! Someone put a hit out on him!🦡
