Can't get enough of Jamie and Claire's romance in 'Outlander'? We've gathered the most romantic quotes from Jamie and Claire.

Claire and Jamie’s most romantic ‘Outlander’ quotes

If you haven’t become acquainted with Starz’s seriously sexy Scottish series, Outlander… what are you waiting for? Based on Diana Gabaldon’s best-selling novels, this steamy period drama follows the story of Claire Randall, a married combat nurse from 1945 who is mysteriously swept back in time to 1743, where she is immediately thrown into an unknown world and her life is threatened.

If you’ve already been indoctrinated into Gabaldon’s or Starz’s scintillating universe, some of these might ring a bell (or maybe you could rattle most of them off by heart). Either way, these quotes will pull you in like a Sassenach lass on a hot day.

Scandalous

Claire: Doesn’t it bother you that I’m not a virgin?
Jamie: No, as long as it doesn’t bother you that I am.

“Actually, it’s your kilt that makes me want to fling you to the floor and commit ravishment. But you don’t look at all bad in your breeks.”
—Claire Fraser

“You’re tearing my guts out, Claire.”
—Jamie Fraser

“All right you bloody Scottish bastard, let’s see how stubborn you really are.”
—Claire

“Told you that dress would bring us grief.”
—Jamie

“You’re a daring woman, sassenach. I guess that makes me a very lucky man.”
—Jamie

Claire: Does this make us bad people?
Jamie: The way I see it, we’re doing a bad thing for a good reason.
Claire: Isn’t that what all bad people say?

“For so many years, for so long, I have been so many things, so many different men. But here . . . here in the dark, with you . . .  I have no name.”
—Jamie

“Does it ever stop? The wanting you?”
Jamie

Jamie: When I touch you, when you lie with me, was it always so between a man and a woman?
Claire: It’s often something like this. But, no, this is unusual. It’s different.

“Take off your shirt. I want to look at you.”
—Claire

Claire: Where did you learn to kiss like that?
Jamie: I said I was a virgin, not a monk. If I need guidance, I’ll ask.
Claire: It’s getting rather late. Perhaps we should go to bed?
Jamie: To bed or to sleep?
Claire: (smiling) Well . . .

“Now if you won’t walk, I shall pick you up and throw you over my shoulder. Do you want me to do that?”
—Jamie to Claire

Jamie: Sassenach . . .
Claire: Yes, master?
Jamie: What does fucking mean?

Sweet

“You’re a kind woman. With a good touch. And your husband is a lucky man.”
—Jamie to Claire

Claire: You don’t mind me seeing your back?
Jamie: I don’t. You seem to have a knack for letting me know you feel sorry for it without making me feel pitiful about it.

“It doesn’t matter where you come from. You’re here.”
—Jamie

Claire: Why did you agree to marry me? Dougal didn’t give me much of a choice but you…
Jamie: I didn’t see I had much of a choice either.

“I’ll never forget when I came out of the church and saw you for the first time, It was as if I stepped outside on a cloudy day and suddenly the sun came out.”
—Jamie

“You are my home now, Claire.”
—Jamie

Jamie: I want you, Claire. I want you so much I can scarcely breathe. Will you have me?
Claire: Yes. I’ll have you.
