Here are some videos of UFOs that gave us goosebumps as we realized we had no idea what we were looking at. Can you see a UFO?

These videos of UFOs have us convinced they’re real

We say this in pretty much all of our UFO articles, so we’re just gonna go ahead and get it out of the way: It’s important to remember that UFO stands for unidentified flying object, this does not inherently mean the object is extraterrestrial in origin.

Okay, phew, now that that’s out of the way, yeah, we totally believe in objects that cannot be identified, and while we do our best to come up with logical Earth-based explanations sometimes that isn’t so easy. When those rare moments occur we can’t help but wonder if perhaps those clips really are of objects alien in origin.

Here are some clips of UFOs that gave us goosebumps as we realized we had no idea what we were looking at.

Ivan Vagner is a Russian astronaut and on August 19th he posted a timelapse video that we can’t stop watching. First of all, it’s beautiful watching the aurora borealis from the perspective of the International Space Station, but second of all – there’s something really weird.

Nearly at the beginning of the video, somewhere between the 8 – 12 second mark, you can see four lights all parallel to one another, seemingly equidistant, and moving at the same speed before fading away. In a follow-up tweet, Vagner clarifies that while we only see the lights for a few seconds they were actually there for 52 seconds, but because the video is a timelapse we only catch them briefly.

The video definitely contains stars, meteors, and satellites in it, but these four lights don’t appear to be any of those things. If it is Earthly in nature then satellites are the best guess (Elon Musk’s Starlink is somewhat notorious for these types of sightings), but being that Vagner is an astronaut he should be able to identify satellites, and he thinks the footage is weird.

Sometime in 1999

The International Space Station strikes again with odd videos. I mean, really, name a better place to find space aliens than, well, outerspace. All the way back in 1999 footage of the Discovery shuttle leaving the space station is suddenly bombarded by eight white objects that appear to all be flying together and at the same speed.

Though, we’ll admit their formation, or lack thereof, is rather a bit sloppy – sorry aliens.

We really racked our brains to come up with something remotely logical, but we’re pretty hard-pressed. Unless they were extremely high flying airplanes (at that point, probably spy planes), but saying our confidence in this conjecture is shaky would be an understatement.

Okay, we know we promised videos that we actually believe could be real alien sightings, but this one looks convincing, is recent, and while we have a solid guess on what Earthly object this might be, we can’t say for certain.

Cigar-shaped UFOs are one of the classic shapes right up there with saucers and triangles. This video certainly fits the bill, but it also looks exactly like one of the rockets SpaceX and NASA are currently working to test.

This, for reference, is a tweet from NASA (posted on September 3) regarding a ground test for one of their rocket boosters. You’ll notice this booster design resembles the UFO’s design quite a bit.

The August video doesn’t say where the footage was recorded, but we’re willing to guess it was Florida, the base of operations for NASA and SpaceX flight tests. If it wasn’t filmed in the Sunshine State though . . . well we’re out of guesses and that video is genuinely strange.

This video is a lighthearted fluff piece from a Texas news station, but we have to admit there is something about it that makes us raise our eyebrows.

We’re going to be completely honest with you, the UFO in this video is very likely to just be a lens flare, but it also looks amusingly similar to a classic saucer-shaped UFO.
