With documents coming out thanks to the Ghislaine Maxwell case, many are wondering if the famous friends of Jeffrey Epstein are going down too.

Who were Jeffrey Epstein’s closest friends? Are they going down too?

Jeffrey Epstein kept himself out of prison thanks to his friends in high places. Now, with his death looming over the trial of Ghislaine Maxwell, many are wondering if his friends are going to be exposed thanks to this trial. Documents that could tie Epstein’s friends to his sex trafficking business are set to be released as part of the trial.

So, if those documents are released, who could go down with Epstein and Maxwell? Many of these figures have already been shown to be highly connected to Epstein, whether it be thanks to the Lolita Express flight logs, Epstein’s little black book, or just business documents showing their connections.

Bill Clinton

The former US president was a frequent flyer on Epstein’s plane according to the flight logs, though his trips were international rather than just to his island. Allegedly, the grew close in the first few years after Clinton left office, with even Clinton remarking in a magazine in 2003 that Epstein was a “highly successful financier.”

Clinton’s office has denied the ex-president’s relationship to Epstein, but plenty of witnesses claim Clinton visited Epstein island, as well as several photos of Clinton with Epstein’s plane and Ghislaine Maxwell. Whether or not Clinton was involved in the sex trafficking, we don’t know. But was he Jeffrey Epstein’s friend? We’d say yes.

Donald Trump

On the opposite side of the political spectrum, the current US president was at one point friends with the financial mogul, though he never visited Epstein’s island. The two had a falling out at one point or another, but during their friendship, Epstein spent plenty of time at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort.

Allegedly, Ghislaine Maxwell even recruited Virgina Roberts Giuffre, one of the more outspoken Epstein victims, while Giuffre worked as a towel girl at Mar-a-Lago. Whether Trump had any role in that though is unknown. To date, Trump wishes Maxwell well in her upcoming trial, and does acknowledge he’s met and interacted with Maxwell.

Prince Andrew

Easily the person with the most connections and evidence to Epstein, Prince Andrew may have been just as close to Jeffrey Epstein as Ghislaine Maxwell. Between 20 years of news reports, Epstein’s flight logs and black book, and plenty of legal papers to boot, their relationship was a lot closer than the two let on in public.

On top of all this, Giuffre has explicitly accused Prince Andrew of sexual assault, claiming she was forced into numerous sexual encounters with him while underaged. He suspended his royal duties back in November because of the allegations, but that was far from the end of his trouble. The Justice Department still wants to interview the prince about his relationship and Epstein’s actions.

Lawrence Krauss

The former Arizona State University professor, who was accused of sexual misconduct himself by former students, was also a close friend and a recipient of hefty donations from Epstein. The two also collaborated on scientific conferences held on Epstein’s island.

Even when Epstein was arrested, the two stayed close. Krauss was forced to retire from his position due to the sexual misconduct claims, and has stayed out of the spotlight since Epstein’s death.

Les Wexner

Former CEO of L Brands, Wexner actually started as a client of Epstein’s, with his personal finances managed by the mogul. A lot of Epstein’s wealth actually came from his work with Wexner. Wexner even sold Epstein an 8 story mansion allegedly for only a dollar.

When Epstein was arrested in 2019, L Brands released a statement saying Wexner severed ties with Epstein years prior, and had no involvement in his illegal practices.
