Rebel Wilson Mayr Method Weight Loss

Rebel Wilson’s actual weight loss took place when she started visiting VivaMayr Wellness and Medical Detox Center in Austria. Using this weight loss method was the rebel’s choice, this method was created by Dr. Franz Xaver Mayr who was an Austrian physician about 100 years ago. 

According to his findings, Mayr believed that most weight gain occurs due to the poisoning of the digestive system with some foods that need to be eradicated from the plan. 

“It’s an approach that eliminates food intolerances, reduces sugar, encourages eating whole foods slowly, boosts the immune system, and reduces inflammation,” Rebel closest people told People. The method eliminates snacking, reduces gluten and dairy intake, and encourages followers to follow mindful eating techniques like chewing food slowly and eating without distractions.

Rebel Wilson’s weight loss diet enlists the foods in the plan which has alkaline content in them. These are special types of vegetables, fresh fish, and sheep milk yogurt that are termed as fancy food.

Rebel Wilson in her interview with People confessed she used to consume 3,000 calories every day. 

“Before I was probably eating 3,000 calories most days, and because they were normally carbs, I would still be hungry,” the Pitch Perfect star said. “So, I’ve really changed to eating a high-protein diet, which is challenging because I didn’t use to eat a lot of meat. I eat fish, salmon, and chicken breast.”

The year of Coronavirus helped Rebel Wilson to slow down his over-eating habits and choose the healthier option. “It helped her focus more on her overall health and her struggle with emotional eating”. “I definitely think with the slowdown, it did help,” she says. “I think I was emotional eating, and overeating at times because I wasn’t loving myself enough either. And it does come down to that self-worth and self-love.”

This doesn’t mean Rebel deprives herself of eating what she wants. 

“I’m just trying to go for overall balance, overall healthy balance,” she said. “I have this state of being, which is not my quote, but I go ‘Nothing is forbidden.’ We’ll be like, ‘Should we get In-N-Out burger?’ And I’m like, ‘Nothing is forbidden.’ I can go there, I just might eat half of what I used to eat before. You know? And I’ll have a burger, and a few fries, and then you feel fine.”

Mayr Method’s diet plan hasn’t been easy so far, Rebel stated in her Instagram caption “”Even if you have to crawl towards your goals, keep going x it will be worth it. Rebel Wilson Weight Loss Exercise Plan

Rebel Wilson is a 40 years old woman but she looks in her 25, why? Because she recommends one exercise to everyone: “Walking”. 

“I’m in a lucky position … I do have access to really amazing personal trainers but I want you guys to know that the majority of the exercise that I’ve done this year has just been me going out for a walk,” she said. “That is free, you can do it, and it’s safe.”

While she’s performing brisk walks or any exercise, Rebel listens to some of her favorite music and audiobooks. “I know it’s getting colder…but just give it a go. If you can do an hour — that’s what I like to do when I go walking — it is the best,” she added. “Just get your body moving.”

Walking can certainly help with weight loss, it’s even highly recommended by many experts around the world. Cedric Bryant, Ph.D. and the president of chief science offer of the American Council on Exercise to encourage her patients to walk regularly to help with weight loss. “It is a low-impact aerobic exercise that allows individuals to expend energy and burn calories, so it can certainly help with weight loss,” Bryant said.

It took a while for rebel Wilson to re-train her bad eating habits. Her diet plan involves a maximum number of proteins and loads of water. She is now consuming 1,500 calories per day. Eating meals like chicken and other meat, Rebel explained she does it mindfully.”You feel satisfied and then you stop eating,” she said. “Whereas if I’m eating a whole frickin’ bag of chips I’m just like devouring that and suddenly there’s a ton of calories and game over and yeah, no weight loss that week.”

Since her childhood, Rebel Wilson has been eating fast food and has a real sweet tooth. “Basically, I only used to eat like, carbs and sugar.” 

Rebel Mental Health

Rebel Wilson is free from the use of drugs and alcohol, there is no past of drug addiction in Rebel’s life but she has something called Emotional Eating. “Whether that be happiness, sadness, celebrating, depression,” she said. “Emotional eating was kind of the thing that I did and dealing with the stress … how I was dealing with fame and the pressures of work was by emotional eating.”
