Chris Harrison spent years on The Bachelor finding “Mr. and Mrs. Rights” for contestants on the beloved dating reality TV show as the official host, and now, the star has officially announced to the world that it’s his turn for love. The former celeb host broke the news on Monday that he popped the big question to his longtime girlfriend Lauren Zima, and she said yes! It looks like the two can’t be any happier with each other. 

It certainly has been quite a rocky year for Chris Harrison, especially after he faced much controversy for leaving The Bachelor due to some questionable comments about racism on the show. However, it seems like he’s wrapping up the mess that was the year 2021 on a good note by getting down on one knee for his lover Lauren Zima. So when’s the big day going to be? Finally, Chris Harrison is no longer a bachelor himself. Could all those years hosting The Bachelor have taught Chris Harrison a little something-something on love and romance? It certainly seems so. On Monday, October 25th, the former Bachelor Nation host shared the news on his IG account that he was finally engaged to his longtime girlfriend Lauren Zima. The star wrote in his IG caption: “I love you @laurenzima”.

He also added: “The next chapter starts now!” We love that for him! In the awesome pic that Chris Harrison posted, we got to see a glimpse of the special moment as the photo showed the former The Bachelor host getting down on one knee in front of his girl, and fans have been going crazy over the happy couple. The star also shared to Us Weekly that he and Lauren Zima are now “both incredibly happy” ever since he proposed to her. 

He told the news outlet that the two shared an “amazingly romantic weekend” with one another in wine country before he popped the big question to her. Chris Harrison shared that “I proposed to Lauren at a very special spot that means a lot to both of us in Napa Valley at Brand Vineyard”. Wine, love, and adorable engagements? We are so here for it! Her lovely engagement ring is also estimated to be worth a hefty $100,000 or more.

Lauren Zima also took to social media to share the happy news to her fans, as she wrote about her now-fiance Chris Harrison: “We tell each other this all the time, and we said it again in an unforgettably beautiful moment this weekend: I didn’t know love could be like this. You are the most incredible partner. Thank you for loving me, championing me and asking me to marry you. Here’s to the next amazing chapter, and all the rest”.

Lauren Zima and Chris Harrison have been dating for over two years, and met thanks to various interviews that were tied to the Bachelor franchise. So while folks were finding love on-screen while on set of the reality TV show, it also looks like sparks were flying behind the cameras as well. Chris Harrison told People: It’s been easy and I think that’s how it all starts. We started dating and, like any relationship, she made me happy”.

“She was kind, nice, we got along, she blended in great with my friends, and just all those steps in the relationship where you start checking those boxes off and it gets better and better and better”, he said about his now-bride to be. We’re not sure when the big day will be for the lovely couple, but we couldn’t be more excited to hear the happy news. We’re so here for this Bachelor romance!
