Marijuana Legalization: A step in the right direction
The Canadian government is making plans to legalize marijuana. The government of Canada has given the responsibility to Vic Toews, the minister of public safety, who said that he would introduce laws in 2013 which make it legal for people 18 years and older to use weed.
He also stated that they wouldn’t be selling weed in stores. Instead, they will provide guidelines so individuals can decide if they want to grow their own or have someone do it for them.
No one knows how much this new venture will generate yet since no one even knows how many Canadians want to buy weed, but with 27 million residents in Canada, I’m sure there’s enough
