Patrick Star gets his own, terrible spinoff: The best memes from Twitter

Can you hear it? That’s the sound of Spongebob Squarepants creator Stephen Hillenburg spinning in his grave quite rapidly. As many of you know, Hillenburg never wanted a Spongebob Squarepants spinoff. Yet, however, we have two. One is Kamp Koral and the other is The Patrick Star Show. The trailer, of which, dropped today, and wow . . . it sure exists.

 

In the series, we follow a younger version of Patrick Star as he hosts a local variety show for the people around him. He lives with his family and, presumably, shenanigans ensue. People have some thoughts about the show of the progenitor of endless memes for the internet to enjoy. The trailer for The Patrick Star Show has the internet talking, which has led to people making memes on Twitter.

 

There’s nothing we can do about it though
