Or is this the first time that you’re dipping your toes into BTS knowledge? Has the K-pop group stole your heart as they had the world over? Because it feels like wherever you turn today, people are talking about BTS.

While each member of the group is insanely talented & amazing, this article is about vocalist for BTS, Park Ji-min or “Jimin” as he’s known to his legion of fans. Jimin was born on Oct. 13, 1995 in the South Korean port city of Busan. Yes, like the zombie film Train to Busan. He has some pretty cute facts about him that any fan should now.

Friendship and smile facts! 

Jimin believes that his ability to smile with his eyes is his point of attraction. Don’t get us wrong, Jimin is just hot af. But there’s something very warm and sweet about his smile that just draws you in, isn’t there? And it’s really sweet that he picked something that not a lot of people would? He does smile with his eyes.

Jimin has the smallest hands amongst the BTS members. It’s a fact that his friends will occasionally tease him about. Apparently, his pinky is only half the length of V’s, who has the biggest hands amongst the BTS band members. This was actually mentioned in the song “Friends”, which is sung by V & Jimin. It’s also about their friendship! Ugh, be more adorable why don’t you? 

Speaking on friends, Jimin seems to be good friends with late night talk show host, Jimmy Fallon. After he released his self-composed song “Promise”, Fallon took to Twitter congratulation Jimin saying: “Ooooohhhhhhh my man JIMIN with a solo jam!! I love it. Congrats! Your brother, Chimmy.”

Nicknames, food, and animals! Oh my!

Jimin has a variety of nicknames that include: Jiminie, mochi, manggaeddeok (rice cake), chimchim, and Prince of Busan. Mochi, believe it or not, came from his early days with BTS where he had extremely precious chubby cheeks. When they got all bunched up? Adorable. It’s adorable, simply put. 

Speaking of food & Jimin, he loves spicy foods. Absolutely thinks they’re the best thing ever. The issue with that, however, is that he can’t handle them well. Don’t worry, Jimin. Many fans of spicy foods don’t have a high tolerance either. It’s one of those “hurts so good” situations.

Jimin is also an avid animal lover! As if your fantasies couldn’t get any more over the top. He loves befriending cats & dogs alike. Though he is very particular about befriending cats. In his solo music video “Intro: Serendipity”, he was bound and determined to befriend that cat.

Jimin is hella active on social media, pretty much taking over the BTS account on the regular. He, specifically, posts about the daily lives of him and his bandmates along with so many selfies. 

He’s also notorious for posting funny pictures of his bandmates, especially going for the most hilarious on their birthdays. Ah, the wonders of friendship! Nothing beats like roasting them on the day of their birth.
