Who appeared in ‘Borat 2’? All the celebrities you missed in the movie
We haven’t been able to travel much since COVID-19 has been running rampant in our streets. Borat Sagdiyev (Sacha Baron Cohen) was on a mission to provide some much-needed comic relief in 2020. Very nice! We all took a trip to the not-so-magical land of Kazakhstan with problematic protagonist Borat. 😅
Borat Subsequent Moviefilm focuses on Borat & his daughter Tutar (Maria Bakalova) as they attempt to befriend powerful politicians in a bid to restore Kazakhstan’s name. Not everyone was happy when Borat Subsequent Moviefilm was released this year. Who were the unwilling celebrity guests involved in Borat’s second movie? Let’s dive in.
Mike Pence
The U.S. Vice President Mike Pence joined Borat in his second movie. Cohen’s character didn’t shy away from politics during Borat Subsequent Moviefilm. Disguised as President Donald Trump, Borat bursts into Pence’s speech at CPAC.
Borat attempts to give Pence his daughter in the hope of restoring Kazakhstan after the humiliation of the movie Borat. Mike Pence orders security to escort the strange visitors off the premises. Nothing more is heard from the VP, but we can only assume he didn’t approve.
Rudy Giuliani
The former New York City mayor & Donald Trump’s personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani appears in an embarrassing segment while being interviewed by Tutar. Borat’s daughter is interviewing Giuliani in hopes of gifting herself to please those back home in Kazakhstan so they don’t execute Borat.
After their interview, Tutar asks the former mayor if he’d like to join her for a drink in the bedroom. Rudy Giuliani agrees to a drink and the pair remove their microphones. Giuliani requests Tutar’s personal information before lying back on the bed with his hands down his pants.
Luckily, Borat bursts into the bedroom wearing a lingerie suit claiming Tutar is only fifteen-years-old and too old for Giuliani. Rudy Giuliani has since discussed the stint on Twitter: “The Borat video is a complete fabrication. I was tucking in my shirt after taking off the recording equipment. At no time before, during, or after the interview was I ever inappropriate.”
Macy Chanel
In an effort to restore his name, Borat embarks on a quest to make his daughter worthy of Mike Pence. This is seriously a movie. Model & Instagram influencer Macy Chanel attempts to educate Tutar on the act of seducing wealthy older men.
Borat claims Chanel is America’s leading feminist, but proves she’s nothing of the sort. By educating Tutar, Macy Chanel claims that Borat’s daughter must go through an extensive makeover even as a fifteen-year-old girl. Chanel also claimed that Tutar should act weak & submissive to seduce the man of her desire.
Since the movie’s release, Chanel’s social media pages have been taken down which may or may not be unrelated.
Tom Hanks
Run, Tom Hanks, run! The legendary actor Tom Hanks made a surprise cameo in Borat Subsequent Moviefilm. Hanks appeared during a montage when Borat is shown as COVID-19’s patient zero and unwittingly spreading it across the world.
Earlier this year, it was widely known that beloved Hollywood actor Tom Hanks contracted coronavirus alongside his wife Rita Wilson. Borat’s shown in Australia coughing on Hanks while getting his autograph in front of the Sydney Opera House. Who could do such a thing to Hanks? Only Borat.
Judith Dim Evans
Late Holocaust survivor Judith Dim Evans appears in a scene where Borat appears to be mocking Jewish people and the Holocaust. According to Deadline, Dim Evans’ estate sued Baron Cohen, claiming that she was duped into appearing in the movie. However, Deadline also reports that Sacha Baron Cohen informed Dim Evans that his character was a satire of an anti-semite and that she knew the true purpose of the film.
Evans sadly passed away after filming her scene, but before the film’s release. Baron Cohen dedicated Borat Subsequent Moviefilm to the late Judith Dim Evans.
