Kim Kardashian’s former husband Kanye West has publicly been making her life a living hell. From hostile callouts to rowdy rebound escapades, West has been making it his priority to make this divorce as miserable as possible. Fortunately, Kim has a new love interest to keep her sane.
No one really saw a romance between the reality star & Pete Davidson coming, but we’re totally here for it! Now that the two are a certified couple, will the new Hulu series address the recent tension between Pete Davidson & Kanye West? Find out all the details here:
The Kardashian family returns
In the latest trailer for Hulu’s The Kardashians, there’s footage of Kim & Pete kissing during a skit for Saturday Night Live when she hosted in October. Kris Jenner, says, “This is a relationship that I don’t think anybody saw coming.”
In an aside interview, Kim is seen on her phone as a producer questions, “Who are you texting, Kim? Does his name rhyme with ‘feet’?” causing Kim to laugh.
“It is really hard with Kanye. He told me my career’s over,” Kim reveals to her sisters after she filed for divorce in February 2021.
In a different exchange, she informs her sisters, “We have all the time and all of the resources to burn them all to the f**king ground,” not explicitly showing who she’s targeting.
Will Pete Davidson be in The Kardashians?
“I have not filmed with him,” she said. “I’m not opposed to it. It’s just not what he does. But if there was an event happening and he was there, he wouldn’t tell the cameras to get away. I think I might film something really exciting coming, but it wouldn’t be for this season.”
Although Pete won’t be on-screen, Kim confirms she’ll divulge “how we met and who reached out to who and how it happened and all the details that everyone wants to know.”
“I’m definitely open to talking, and I definitely explain it,” she said, also explaining that she kept the romance private at first, even her family. “There were times when I was seen out [with Pete] and then I would be with my family or friends like my mom had a birthday party a few days after, and I walk in and everyone’s like, ‘Hello, excuse me!?’”
“Everyone kept on asking me and I was like, ‘You guys, everyone just leave me the f**k alone and let me live my life.’ Let me take a page out of Kourtney’s handbook, and let me just live my best life.”
Pete Davidson & Kanye West clash
“Yo it’s Skete. Can you please take a second and calm down. It’s 8am and it don’t gotta be like this,” the comedian texted West in screenshots shared by Saturday Night Live guest writer Dave Sirus on Sunday.
“Kim is literally the best mother I’ve ever met. What she does for those kids is amazing and you are so f–king lucky that she’s your kids mom,” he continued. “I’ve decided im not gonna let you treat us this way anymore and I’m done being quiet. Grow the f**k up.”
According to the screenshots, West then asked, “Oh you using profanity now. Where are you right now?” Davidson snarkily sent a selfie of himself shirtless under the covers, adding, “In bed with your wife.”
However, Pete Davidson soon gained a more sympathetic tone and told Kanye, “Let me help you, man. I struggle with mental stuff too.”
“It’s not an easy journey, you don’t have to feel this way anymore. There’s no shame in having a little help. You’ll be so happy and at peace,” he added. “I have your back even though you treat me like s–t because I want everything to be smooth. But if you continue to press me like you have for the past 6 months I’m gonna stop being so nice.”
