Bangbros says Mia Khalifa’s net worth didn’t come from 12 videos

Mia Khalifa has been making it clear that her time in the porn industry was anything but enjoyable. After rewriting her story so she’s better known for her sport commentary and TikToks, Khalifa has been speaking out against the industry as of late and its corruptive nature.

However, her former employer Bangbros is calling her out on some of her claims. Things like that her entire net worth while doing porn was only $12,000 for 12 videos, and that she was only in the adult film industry for 3 months. But they’re also providing evidence with their claims.

More than 12 videos

The big part of Mia Khalifa’s claims is that her entire paycheck in the porn industry was $12,000 for 12 videos, so basically $1,000 per video. However, Bangbros has shared that Mia has done more than 12 videos just for their site, as well as starring on other sites before signing with Bangbros. 

Assuming all of the scenes were each their own individual shoot, Mia Khalifa did a total of 28 shoots during her time in the porn industry. On top of all this, these videos date further apart than 3 months, showing that Khalifa was in the porn industry for at least 2 years, as she started sometime in late 2014 and left in July of 2017. 

Free reign over content

Part of Khalifa’s warning about the porn industry is the lack of control the stars have, as well as being forced into content they don’t support. But in a video that was obtained from a previous cam stream of Khalifa’s, she states that she has nearly full creative control over the scenes she’s doing.

She says that she can “live out my dirtiest fantasies” because Bangbros was letting her write out scenes to perform, as well as getting control over the titles and descriptions for the videos. What scenes in particular she wrote, we don’t know, but it sounds like she was doing a cam girl stream talking about her Bangbros contract. 

In fact, she renegotiated her terms in her Bangbros contract to have more creative control and freedom within her performances. Does that sound like someone who was manipulated into a contact, as Khalifa claims? On top of that, she also states that she didn’t “have a terrible contract” in a 2019 interview, however she also states she never had a manager or agent in the business as well.

Regaining popularity out of controversy

The biggest claim Khalifa has been making is that while her net worth is dropping, Bangbros is making their net worth climb thanks to them pushing Mia Khalifa videos. But the truth is, the internet is just naturally perverted, so the more Khalifa talks about her time in the porn industry, the more people are going to want to look for said videos.

Long before she began speaking out, she was one of the top viewed stars on every adult film website, and she still remains there today. But not because the sites are pushing her content thanks to controversy, but instead because people are naturally looking her up on Bangbros and Pornhub. 

The porn industry does have a history of being manipulative and a dangerous business, but the claims Khalifa is making are questionable when looking at the evidence. Whether Mia Khalifa is just trying to use the controversy to increase her net worth or not, we don’t know.
