Vote for your fandom faves in the People’s Choice Awards
If you’ve been living under a rock since 1975 you might not know about The E! People’s Choice Awards. If that’s the case, The PCAs are meant to recognize the people the fandom loves in entertainment. The awards are voted by the people and the nominations are decided by the public.
Why should you care? Well if you’re even remotely interested in entertainment and you’re even partially involved in a fandom, you’ll want to let your fingers do the voting and nominate your faves today. Here’s our handy guide to making your nominations count.
When can I nominate my fandom faves?
Voting for nominations opened today, Monday, August 12th and closes on Friday, August 16th.
Voting proper starts on September 4th. Nominate your fandom faves here.
How can I vote?
- Online: The quickest and easiest way is to vote here. This is the only method available for the nominations. (August 12th – 16th)
- Facebook: Fans can post either publicly or privately and include: one category hashtag, one corresponding nominee hashtag, and “#PCAs”.
- Twitter: Fans can send a public tweet or retweet and include one category hashtag, one corresponding nominee hashtag, and “#PCAs”.
- For anyone living back in 1999, you can also submit a snail mail write-in vote! More info can be seen on that, here if you’re that type of awesome luddite.
When will I know if my fandom faves made the cut?
The nominees will be announced on Wednesday, Sept. 4th when the official voting will kick off, as we announce the top eight nominees for all 43 categories.
When can I watch my fandom faves scoop their award?
Don’t forget to tune into the PCAs on Sunday, Nov. 10 on E!.
