Injection machine
Metal Injection moulding machine is also known as injection machine. It is the main forming equipment for making thermoplastic or thermosetting plastics to various shapes of plastic products by using moulds. It is divided into vertical, horizontal and all-electric types. The injection moulding machine can heat the plastics and apply high pressure to the molten plastics to make them emit and fill the mould cavity.
MIM injection moulding machine usually consists of injection system, clamping system, hydraulic transmission system, electrical control system, lubrication system, heating and cooling system, safety monitoring system, etc.
Injection system
Function of injection system: Injection system is one of the most important components of injection molding machine. Generally, there are three main forms: plunger type, screw type and screw pre-plastic plunger injection type. At present, screw type is the most widely used. Its function is to heat and plasticize a certain number of plastics in a specified time in a cycle of the injection machine, and inject molten plastics into the mould cavity through screw under a certain pressure and speed. After the injection, it keeps the melt injected into the cavity in shape.
Composition of injection system: Injection system consists of plasticizer and power transfer device.
The plasticizing device of screw injection moulding machine is mainly composed of feeding device, barrel, screw, glue passing component and nozzle. The power transmission device includes injection cylinder, injection base movable cylinder and screw drive device (melt motor).
Mold clamping unit: This unit consists of a mold clamping mechanism, which is used to securely hold the mold in place during the injection process.
Heating and cooling system: This system is responsible for controlling the temperature of the injection cylinder and mold. It ensures that the metal powder and plastic binder are heated to the appropriate temperature for injection and that the molded part is cooled and solidified properly.
Control system: The control system includes various sensors, controllers, and programming interfaces that allow the operator to monitor and control the injection molding process.
Powder feeding system: This system is used to feed the metal powder and plastic binder mixture into the injection cylinder.
Ejection system: The ejection system is used to remove the molded part from the mold after it has been cooled and solidified.
Safety devices: Various safety devices, such as emergency stop buttons and safety interlocks, are included to ensure the safety of the operator and prevent accidents during operation.
