Tropical storm Elsa has made landfall on the Gulf Coast of Florida this morning and shows little sign of slowing down despite its demotion from a hurricane to a tropical storm. According to meteorologists, the storm’s core was eroded away by dry air and wind shear after making landfall on the Gulf Coast of Florida, but high winds and heavy rain are still expected.
