Here’s why we want a ‘Selling Sunset’ spinoff for Christine
Maybe it’s quarantine, the desire to watch something different, or just looking for some good old fashion reality TV, but Selling Sunset has blown up over the past few weeks. Season 3 just hit Netflix in August, and there’s plenty of drama for fans to digest between Christine’s wedding, Chrishell’s divorce, and Davina just being awful as usual.
After season 3 of Selling Sunset though, fans are wondering when Netflix is going to sign off on a Christine Quinn-focused spinoff. One of the original faces of the Oppenheim Group, Christine has become a fan favorite on the show for consistently speaking her mind and her top notch looks.
It doesn’t hurt Christine just did a very honest interview with Vogue that made us fall in love with her even more. We’re all on the same page now: We need a Christine-focused Selling Sunset spinoff.
A close look at her own business
Christine has said in a few interviews since season 3 premiered she’s looking into starting her own real estate business. While she doesn’t have a lot of specifics, Christine has made it clear she wants to set up her own business and work on her own.
As Christine puts it in her interview with Vogue, “A spin-off solo show would be a great idea, I’m so tired of sharing screen time with those five other bitches – I’m done. Give me my own show already!” Imagine getting to see her new business from close up?
Never afraid to tell the truth
Christine is known as the “mean girl” on Selling Sunset because she’s not afraid to speak her mind. Sure, it gets her into trouble, but it also keeps her honest, and also, we’re in love with the drama it causes. Off-screen, Christine isn’t afraid to open up and tell the truth, even if it’s a bit TMI at times.
When people ask Christine about her killer looks, she’ll openly admit a lot of her is fake. “I tell people all the time: I got my boobs done, I get my lips done, tons of Botox, tons of make-up. How I look on [Selling Sunset] is not how I look when I wake up in the morning.” she revealed to Vogue. We know we’ll get even more honest Christine in a spinoff.
Miss Independent
“Don’t wait for a knight in shining armour, build your own castle. I knew I wanted to meet a rich husband, but first I wanted to be my own rich husband. I wanted to work hard, be independently wealthy and be a self-made millionaire — which I did.” She’s been independent for so long, Christine could easily hold her own in a solo show.
We mean, talk about a woman who knows what she wants! Christine has bragged about her now-husband’s wealth and achievements on Selling Sunset season 3, but she’s got her own trophy room full of achievements. Between her achievements as a model in her early 20s, to the big sales she’s accomplished as a real estate agent, Christine made her wealth before her man came along. That’s independence.
Christine’s style
Really, her lewks are the main reason we want a Selling Sunset Christine spinoff. The clear style icon of Selling Sunset, Christine serves look after look throughout season 3, and that’s exactly what we need more of.
Imagine: A Christine-centered show would mean nearly every scene would feature a new bomb lewk from the real estate agent. It’s the show we deserve. So Netflix, get on the Christine Quinn spinoff that we Selling Sunset fans deserve.
