Merry Christmas!

Here comes the bride!

Lady Polka dot

In 1981, Princess Diana wore a stunning red cotton polka dot dress when she attended Nicholas Soames’s wedding in Westminster, London. As the Queen’s guest, Diana might’ve outshined the royal with her red outfit from hat to toe.

Princess Diana also rocked another set of polka dots in 1983 when she attended the Royal Tour of Canada. Diana wore a bold red coat with a white & red polka dot top. Let’s not forget another perfect-fitted hat.

Summer sun

There’s nothing like mimicking the Australian sun in your outfit. Before Princess Diana’s awful death, the icon wore a bright yellow dress when she visited a school in Alice Springs during her & Prince Charles’s royal tour in 1983.

Cinderella

If you didn’t already know, Princess Diana was made for royalty. And in this pink & purple off-shoulder ball gown by Belville Sassoon, she was magic! Diana also had a matching blue choker when she attended the Splendours of the Gonzaga exhibition alongside Prince Charles in London.

Insider noted that Princess Diana wore this while she was pregnant with Prince William. In fact, on the day after the event Prince Charles announced her pregnancy to the United Kingdom.

Dancing the night away

Who could forget Princess Diana’s fabulous dark velvet, slightly black gown. Before the Princess’s death she danced to her heart’s content with Grease actor John Travolta. Diana’s gown was paired with a pearl choker & classic dance moves.

Overalls are never over

Don’t throw away those ugly overalls! Actually, have you seen Princess Diana in a casual pair? Diana was known to make any overall work. In fact, she was seen in 1987 in a baggy pair with a rope-belt.

The stunning Princess Diana also wore a pastel yellow pair of overalls with a colorful floral shirt with hints of pink, yellow, and blue. According to Harper Bazaar, Diana’s outfit lacks no imagination at a polo match in England in 1981. Did we mention her funky red wedges?

“Woke up like this”

The most interesting look that you have most likely tried to replicate at home, is Princess Diana’s loose “Fly Atlantic” long-sleeve jersey with neon orange shorts. But what makes this outfit truly scream Diana is her tennis shoes with spotless white socks pulled as high as they can go. Did she go to the gym? Did she head to a movie? Who cares. Diana looked great!

Watch out world

The final piece to Diana’s effortless fashion collection is her “revenge” dress. Thanks to Prince Charles’s confession of his affair with Camilla Parker-Bowles, Diana rocked the Serpentine Gallery’s summer party in a short black number.
