The Black Keys Perform at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival at The Marquis Park City with LNE Presents, Featuring Activation by Innovative New Film Blockchain Platform Film.io

The Black Keys headlined back-to-back VIP shows during the 2024 Sundance Film Festival at new music venue The Marquis Park City in partnership with LNE Presents, which featured an audience-engaging activation by innovative new blockchain-based platform Film.io, a platform for filmmakers, fans, and creators.

The Black Keys wowed festival attendees and filmmakers with two nights of headlining performances at The Marquis Park City as part of “The Premiere Series” to officially launch the new state-of-the-art music venue during the 2024 Sundance Film Festival, with a supporting performance by opener Gabe Carter.

Talent notables such as Emmanuelle Chriqui, Matt Bellamy, Bijou Phillips, Billy Magnussen, Will Forte, Pauly Shore, Peter Shore, Paul Oakenfold, Caroline D’Amore, ‘Lolla’ producer Brian Levy, Jason ‘Jroc’ Craig, Dylan O’Brien, Victoria Pedretti, Joel Michaely and many more were in attendance for the intimate, sold out shows by legendary rock artists The Black Keys. The American rock duo from Akron, Ohio, Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney, performed each night for a packed house, backed with an incredible full band show, paired with state-of-the-art lighting.

The iconic rock band played a set for approximately 75 minutes per night, followed by an audience-demanded encore, as the room chanted “one more song.”  The Marquis PC, in partnership with LNE Presents, uniquely allows attendees to experience a concert in an unmatched, extremely intimate setting with top artists such as aforementioned The Black Keys, that you would only normally experience in large arenas, grand concert venues, and festival settings.

Featuring an activation by Film.io, https://film.io/, the world’s newest, and first, powerful decentralized filmmaking ecosystem, placing Hollywood decision-making into the hands of creators and fans ambassadors engaged concertgoers during the show, showcasing their innovative platform. Red Bull Energy and Tito’s Vodka were also featured throughout the evening.

The Black Keys were also in town to support the new Lolla documentary in the festival and promote their upcoming new album, which they previewed new music from during the concert for the engaged audience of fans, tastemakers, VIPs, filmmakers, cinephiles, and locals, alike.

The Black Keys were the first rock band to grace the stage of the new venue on the historic main street, which kicked off the festival the night prior with R&B Sensation Leon Bridges presented by Chase Sapphire, and were followed by EDM performances from DJ Duo Odesza, Devo, Illenium, and Kaskade set to take the stage this weekend. The venue soft launched with a performance by rapper Nas over New Year’s weekend, ahead of their official debut during Sundance 2024. Upcoming shows with Steve Aoki, Dirty Heads, and Goldfish are also slated.

ChefDance Social also hosted a dinner party before Leon Bridges’ show the night before The Black Keys on Thursday, January 18th, at the hand of James Beard Chef Shawn McClain, with a curated custom menu and desserts featuring Candy Pop Butterfinger in a popcorn Panna Cotta creation by the ChefDance pastry chef. Leon participated in a meet and greet with Chase Sapphire VIPs following the multi-course meal, before heading up to his performance at The Marquis.
