Adele is finally saying “hello” once again

Just last week, Adele came out with her first single on her upcoming new album titled “Easy on Me”, and boy, have all of us been loving it so far.
The music video for “Easy on Me” dropped on the star’s YouTube channel last Thursday afternoon, and over 360,000 of her fans came together to celebrate the launch and listen to the song live. The music video for the heartbreaking & emotional song was shot and directed by indie filmmaker Xavier Dolan in Quebec, and it was filmed in the same house that was used to film the pop singer’s 2015 music video for the smash hit “Hello”.
When speaking of how much both artists have grown since the year 2015, director Xavier Dolan said: “For me, there’s nothing stronger than artists reconnecting after years apart. I’ve changed. Adele’s changed. And this is an opportunity to celebrate how we’ve both evolved, and how we’ve also both remained faithful to our dearest themes. It’s all the same, but different”. Just as we predicted, the music video for “Easy On Me” is just as amazing as the video for “Hello”, and we’re so ready for the new Adele album.
All about the new album
It is no surprise that the new Adele album is going to include some drama and tea about her personal life, as Adele has always been the queen of creating some sad love songs. She also already did reveal during an Instagram Live on October 10th that the new album, which will be called 30, would heavily revolve around topics of love such as her divorce. On IG Live, the pop star even teased a small sample of “Easy on Me” to her fans.
Ever since Adele surprised and excited the world with her comeback, she has since called her upcoming new album 30 “my ride or die throughout the most turbulent period of my life”. The star even mentioned that she “learned a lot of blistering home truths about myself along the way”. Personal growth and some amazing music to go with it? We love that for her! The new album is set to be released on November 19th.
