Meghan Markle has been the target of thousands of smear campaigns set out to humiliate and crucify the actress over false claims and unusual narratives.

Meghan Markle found the spotlight when she starred in Suits as Rachel Zane. She wasn’t shy in front of the camera, but that didn’t prepare her for the chaos that followed years later. In 2016, Harry & Meghan were set up on a blind date at Soho House’s Dean Street Townhouse.
“Because I’m from the States, you don’t grow up with the same understanding of the royal family. I didn’t know much about him, so the only thing that I had asked [our mutual friend] when she said that she wanted to set us up, was, ‘Well, is he nice?’ Cause if he wasn’t kind, it just didn’t seem like it would make sense,” Meghan Markle stated in a 2017 interview with the BBC.
In an interview with James Corden on The Late Late Show, Prince Harry spoke about the early stages of dating Meghan. “Dating with me, or with any member of the royal family I guess, is kind of flipped upside down. All the dates become dinners or watching the TV or chatting at home. And then eventually, once you become a couple you venture out to dinners, to the cinema, and everything else. So, everything was done back to front with us.”
Later that year, Kensington Palace confirms the young couple’s relationship status while also calling out some hurtful comments made about Markle:
“Prince Harry is worried about Ms. Markle’s safety and is deeply disappointed that he has not been able to protect her. It is not right that a few months into a relationship with him that Ms. Markle should be subjected to such a storm. He knows commentators will say this is ‘the price she has to pay’ and that ‘this is all part of the game’. He strongly disagrees. This is not a game — it is her life and his.”
The nude truth?
Well, it looks like the media are still not letting Meghan & Harry live in peace. The Daily Mail published an interview with author Tom Bower who wrote Revenge: Meghan, Harry and the War Between the Windsors. Bower claims, “Meghan Markle was “disappointed” Prince Harry had “very little money” when they met.
He goes on to say, “Her great surprise and disappointment was that Prince Harry had very little money. She had imagined he would be worth hundreds of millions, if not billions, and she is having to make up for it now. [Markle] wants to ride in the big Cadillacs, the private jets on command. At the moment she needs to scrounge for those sorts of things.”
Forbes estimated their collective net worth was around $10 million in 2021, but Bower claims that wasn’t enough for “money-obsessed” Markle. As reported by Deadline, “Harry, 38, and Markle, 41, subsequently founded Archewell Productions to produce “programming that informs, elevates and inspires.” The company signed a multiyear production deal with Netflix estimated to be worth between $100 million and $150 million.”
It’s unclear whether or not Meghan Markle & Prince Harry’s departure was money driven, but it seems they are definitely making their money’s worth over in the states.
