Beyoncé is back! How’s she making her huge net worth grow even higher?

You heard us right. Beyoncé will return with a new solo album for the first time since 2016’s Lemonade. Clearly, everyone’s already losing their minds and we can’t even imagine the insane number of pre-orders that are happening as we speak.

All Beyoncé had to do was give us a title & release date for the world to go into a frenzy. As mysterious as ever, there are still few details about the upcoming album, Renaissance, besides its release date set for July 29th.

Besides the uncontainable anticipation we’re all feeling, we’re also wondering how high is Beyoncé’s net worth and how will Renaissance bump those massive numbers even higher? Let’s dig into all the details about her upcoming album and how she has grown her net worth throughout her career.

Renaissance brings the heat

Shortly after the album was unveiled, British Vogue released a cover story with the iconic singer. Edward Enninful, the editor-in-chief of British Vogue, described listening to the album in person: “Instantly, a wall of sound hits me,” Enninful wrote. “Soaring vocals and fierce beats combine and in a split second I’m transported back to the clubs of my youth. I want to get up and start throwing moves. It’s music I love to my core.”

Enniful continued, “Music that makes you rise, that turns your mind to cultures and subcultures, to our people past and present, music that will unite so many on the dance floor, music that touches your soul. As ever with Beyoncé, it is all about the intent. I sit back, after the wave, absorbing it all.”

Soon after, Variety received more information on the album from a source close to the project. The album will feature both dance & country-leaning tracks, the source says, with help from hit songwriter Ryan Tedder, who co-wrote her 2008 track “Halo” as well as hits for Adele, Taylor Swift, the Jonas Bros., and his own group, OneRepublic.

Also said to be involved is Raphael Saadiq, who has crafted hits for Mary J. Blige, D’Angelo, Stevie Wonder, John Legend, and Andra Day as well as his own excellent solo albums, and executive-produced A Seat at the Table, Solange’s masterful 2016 album.

It was unclear whether the country songs will appear as a separate album, or as part of the first edition of “Renaissance,” which has been titled “ACT I”.

Beyoncé’s net worth through the years

At the moment, Beyoncé is considered one of the wealthiest singers in the world with a whopping net worth of $500 million. Yet, how did she climb all the way to the top? Knowles had her first moment in the limelight in the 90s TV show Star Search as a member of the rap/dance troupe Girl’s Tyme.

Although Girl’s Tyme struggled in the late 1990s, they were soon signed by Columbia Records in 1997 under its new name, Destiny’s Child. As we all know, Destiny’s Child would go on to become a huge success with tracks like “Say My Name,” “Bills, Bills, Bills,” and “Bootylicious”. In total, they sold over 50 million records worldwide.

After completing their album, 8 Days of Christmas, the trio decided to split and work on solo projects. Beyonce evidently went big all on her own and has released plenty of insanely triumphant solo albums. She also has a prominent acting career with leading roles in Dreamgirls, Obsessed, and Austin Powers. In a given touring year, Beyonce Knowles earns $80 million from her various endeavors.

Besides a successful music & acting career, Knowles is also known for her business deals & brand endorsements. For example, she launched her first solo fragrance brand in 2010. She eventually created a total of six fragrance brands which have generated more than $500 million in revenue since 2010. When combined, her brand is the most successful celebrity fragrance of all time.
