The marriage of Kate Middleton and Prince William started with a fairy tale wedding. But is his alleged infidelity going to end it in divorce?

Are Kate Middleton and Prince William heading for divorce?

The relationship between Meghan Markle and Prince Harry has been one of controversy since they first announced their engagement in 2017. The constant attacks from the British tabloids infamously pushed them both away from the British Royal Family.

But hidden in the midst of their personal controversies has been the allegedly crumbling marriage of Kate Middleton and Prince William. In fact, some believe Markle was often intentionally thrown under the bus to distract media attention away from William & Kate’s marital issues.

It worked while Markle and husband were still employed by the BRF and residing in the UK. With them gone, however, media attention has returned to Middleton & husband. What’s actually going on?

Fairy tale

In October 2010, Prince William proposed to Kate Middleton using the same ring his father gave to his mother Princess Diana. Then on April 29th, 2011, Kate Middleton and Prince William married each other with the Queen’s official consent. It was like something out of a fairy tale.

She was adorned in a Sarah Burton-designed dress of ivory satin with a long, exquisite train. He was adorned in an officer’s uniform with full honors. People from all over the world tuned in to watch what had been built up as the wedding of the century.

Cracks appear

Sources have speculated for years over Kate Middleton and Prince William not being as happy as they would have the world believe. Speculation further began suggesting Middleton had plotted her way into marrying into the British Royal Family.

Yet, the media focused more on Prince William’s wandering eye. In 2014, he’d allegedly ignored her at his birthday party in favor of ex-girlfriend Jecca Craig. This was the first hint of his infidelity to catch the attention of the media, but it wouldn’t be the last.

In fact, the couple supposedly split up in 2007 behind what seemed to be his unwillingness to be faithful. She’d allegedly caught him flirting with another woman and after a huge fight decided to take a break from their relationship.

Rose Hanbury

Earlier this year, Meghan Markle sat down for an interview with Oprah Winfrey. Markle spoke to many issues she’d faced since her engagement to Prince Harry. Among them was the implication of being used to distract the British tabloids from speculating on the marital issues of Kate Middleton and Prince William.

Their issues once again revolved around Prince William’s alleged infidelity. However, this wasn’t just another case of a wandering eye or flirting with another woman. Sources speculated over him taking Marchioness Rose Hanbury as a mistress in 2019.

This might have been just another rumor of Prince William’s unwillingness to be faithful. But Middleton was pregnant at the time with Prince Louis. Then there’s also the fact of Hanbury herself also being married.

Not so perfect

The current speculation over the marital issues between Kate Middleton and Prince William still involve his alleged infidelity. Hanbury remains an alleged source of much pain & strife between the two.

Sources now speculate over Prince William possibly planning to leave Middleton for Hanbury. In addition, rumors are circulating over him becoming an alcoholic who refuses to help Middleton take care of their children.

Rumors of infidelity have paved the road of their relationship as much as public interest and fancy jewels. Yet, it’s the newest rumors suggesting a very, very expensive divorce as the final destination.

Regardless, they seem to be a couple on the edge of disaster as more rumors cause more speculation. The reality of marriage in their case has not lived up to the spectacle of marriage. This, unfortunately, proves not all fairy tales have happy endings.
