Who is Sean Waltman?

For those that didn’t watch WWE in the 90s and early 2000s, Sean Waltman isn’t just a podcaster, but a retired American professional wrestler. The Irish Sun reported the forty-eight-year-old is in the WWE Hall of Fame, has received many awards for the D-Generation X, and is a member of the New World Order in WCW.

Sean Michael Waltman debuted his wrestling career in 1989 as The Lightning Kid and only became known as X-Pac in 2010. Comicbook reported Waltman wrestled with WWE from 1993 to 1996, and returned from 1998 to 2002.

Why WWE now?

“I had Hepatitis C for a long time. I tested positive for it when I came back to TNA. After that, I couldn’t get cleared in certain states with athletic commissions, so TNA & WWE couldn’t really have me in matches” Waltman told WWE fans.

According to The Irish Sun Sean Waltman suffered “Hepatitis C for a long time” and just wanted to get back into wrestling. Luckily he has finally been cured. “It cost $100,000 for treatment. It’s $1,000 a pill, one pill every day. I feel great.”

“I’m cured, everyone. Just this year. I hadn’t mentioned it publicly.” Wrestle Zone reported that Waltman plans to get a knee injury fixed so he can get back into the ring. “I’m going to get that fixed, and sometime next year I’ll put myself on the market, have a few more matches.”
