A look inside ‘Selling Sunset”s controversial “crackhead” casting

Selling Sunset is a reality TV series that has taken the world by storm. The show premiered on Netflix in 2019 and has since gained a massive following thanks to its mix of luxury real estate, drama, and personal relationships.

The show follows the lives of elite real estate agents who work for The Oppenheim Group, one of the most prestigious real estate firms in Los Angeles. The agents are all beautiful, ambitious, and determined to make it to the top of their profession. But as they navigate the cutthroat world of high-end real estate, they also have to deal with their own personal dramas and relationships.

The cast of Selling Sunset is made up of some of the most talented and glamorous individuals in the industry. The show’s leading ladies include Chrishell Stause, Heather Rae Young, Mary Fitzgerald, Maya Vander, Davina Potratz, and Amanza Smith. Each agent brings their unique personality to the show, and viewers can’t get enough of their witty banter, feuds, and jaw-dropping fashion choices.

Season 6 has introduced a couple more characters after Christine Quinn got the boot and Maya Vander is moving over to Miami. Is the new casting a hit or a miss?

Drama and diamonds

Christine Quinn is the show’s resident villain, known for her sharp tongue and no-nonsense attitude. She’s the type of person you love to hate, and fans can’t get enough of her outrageous behavior. Unfortunately, Quinn decided to step back from the show following neverending drama between cast members both on and off screen.

Mary Fitzgerald is the mother hen of the group, always there to offer a listening ear and words of wisdom. Maya Vander is the show’s international star, hailing from Israel, and bringing a unique perspective to the group. Davina Potratz is the straight-shooter of the bunch, always offering her honest opinions (even when unwanted). At the same time, Amanza Smith is not afraid to get messy and definitely shares her views on the office drama.

Nicole Young & Bre Tiesi have joined season 6 and have definitely brought even more drama to The Oppenheim Group. Chrishell even called Nicole a “crackhead” following a head-to-head on a girl’s trip. Nicole’s official bio at the brokerage says she is “an avid beach volleyball player and succulent gardener and lives with her husband and their two dogs.” She has also been vegan for around two years.

Bre is best known for her relationship with Nick Cannon and is seen as a new mom on the show while fighting Chelsea on her values and morals. According to her official bio. When engaging with others, she describes herself as “kind of a mirror.” In the trailer for the sixth season, she said, “Whatever you give me is what you’re going to get.”

Fan reactions

Clearly, we can expect even more fights between Chrishell & Nicole in season 7!

Please let Amanza relax for a season . . . she needs it.

Chrishell’s partner GFlip is also a great new addition!

We can’t help but use all the lingo from season 6 of Selling Sunset.

Overall, Selling Sunset is a show that has it all – drama, glamour, and high-end real estate. And with such a talented and entertaining cast, it’s no wonder that viewers can’t get enough of this addictive reality TV series.
